In the ACT, workers in certain occupations who carry out work involving asbestos-containing materials may be required to complete approved training in working safely with asbestos-containing materials, in addition to asbestos awareness training.
11348NAT Course in Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials provides training for workers whose duties may involve work on or around asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
This training does not qualify a person to undertake licensed asbestos removal work.
