Maintaining a current CPR qualification supports roles where workers may be required to respond to medical emergencies or assist with workplace safety responsibilities. CPR is commonly required or preferred for construction supervisors, leading hands, workplace First Aid Officers, health and safety representatives and other roles with safety responsibilities.
CPR should be renewed every 12 months to keep your skills current. If your full first aid qualification is due for renewal (recommended every three years), consider completing the complete First Aid course instead, which includes CPR.
